Video - Social Media

While studying Digital Marketing at Dublin Business School, I was tasked to create a blog with two other students for our Digital Marketing Analytics and Metrics module. We created a Dublin-based food and travel blog called "Curated Dublin". Our task for this assignment was to create four blog posts each, promote them on social media, and analyse the metrics behind the blog at the end of the semester. I learned a lot about social media management during this assignment, as well as bringing people to websites through organic social means. Please see below the social media posts I made for TikTok and Instagram to promote Curated Dublin:

In an attempt to enhance my video editing, photography, and videography skills. as well as build on my portfolio, I decided to make mock content for a start-up clothing brand in Dublin named "Abosha". While doing this, I learned a lot about working with clients, and I enhanced my skills using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro. I also improved my product photography and videography a lot. Please see the mock-content I made for Abosha below:

Short Film - Horse House

In my first year of college studying Multimedia in Dublin City University, I was tasked to create a short film. This was my first real experience using my videography, video editing, and scriptwriting skills. Unfortunately, my first year in college was during Covid, so my project work had to be done within the guidelines and restrictions. Due to having to create this short film during Covid, I was restricted with who I could involve, where we could go, and what equipment I could use. Regardless of these hurdles, this project gave me a great foundation of skills I still use to this day. Please see a link below to Horse House:

Music Video - Rust

In my second year of college studying Multimedia in Dublin City University, I was tasked to create a music video for a song o fmy choosing. This was a great experience because it gave me experience working with content that wasn't completely my own. I used a song made by my friend Cian Horan, so the consultation process with him gave me a great insight on how to work with clients and produce a product they want. This project also enhanced my video editing skills with Adobe Premier Pro.

Video - Personal Projects

In the Summer of 2022, my brother and I interrailed around Europe for three weeks. I collected video footage of the locations we went to and the activities we did over the three weeks. This personal project was interesting because I had to make a concise video with three weeks of content. As well as this, I had to work with footage that didn't have much creative thought behind it other than showing the place we were in.

In the Summer of 2023, myself and my friends decided to start a beer pong league for a fun activity to do during holidays. To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, I decided to make a promotional video to create hype around the next beer pong league event. This project gave me  great insight on how to create hype around events.

Due to the success and feedback from the "Paddy's Day Pong" promotional video, I decided to make another promotional video for the beer pong league. This video gave me experience in creating hype, as well as creating narrative in a promotional video.
